13.10.9 Large hole in one side, and hole at base of neck neck, part of handle missing. The vase has been repaired in several places including the body and the region where the neck of the vase connects to the shoulder. There are some yellow inclusions.
14.9.108 Lid missing. Glaze remains shiny. Repaired in three pieces.
14.9.11 Small surface scratches. Paint is wearing off of both sides but the design is still distinguishable. Small piece on the corner has been repaired.
14.9.17 Traces of glue hint at a previous repair but the repaired piece is missing. Small spots of deposit on both surfaces. Slight surface damage to the concave surface.
14.9.45 Incomplete: handles, top of false neck, and spout missing. Indications along the shoulder that it had at one time been broken and repaired. Minute cracks and chips on main body and shoulder of the jar.
16.2.1 Incomplete and repaired. Glaze has lost lustre, and much has eroded, especially over the 'tail' end, leaving greyish-buff colour. A later segment has been added to body to replace a missing piece.
2016.5.2 Five repaired cracks on the body. Gray mastice on part of the rim. Wearing of reddish painting on the body and base of the vase. Wearing of black painting on the handles.
22.3.24 Incomplete, one handle is missing and around half of the rim. The piece has been repaired and consists of 6 pieces.
22.3.6 Complete but repaired. Small chip to rim. White deposits on outer surface and yellow ones on inner surface.
25.8.1 Much repaired and restored and some re-painting at joins. Surface is very soft and dusty. Paint is nearly compleetly worn off from mouth and foot. Design is still distinguishable.
25.8.2 Stands unevenly. Paint is good condition and picture is clear. Rim is a little damaged and one section of the wall has been repaired.
25.8.3 Lid is non-removable. Repaired cracks and base.
25.9.1 One handle missing, the other repaired. Badly damaged all over, with paint flaking badly from the mouth area, body and foot having been repaired extensively and the glaze is a bad condition leaving the clay exposed. Plaster inserted in base to increase stability.
26.12.10 Complete but repaired from fragments, repainting at joins. Plentiful modern incisions. Colours remain apart from the white of the women's flesh.
26.12.11 Incomplete and repaired. Large area missing from side and smaller fragments missing elsewhere. White deposits inside. One handle missing. Paint remains clear and colourful on the parts that remain.
26.12.14 Part of lip missing. Mouth and handle repaired. Paint particularly worn behind handle, and somewhat on handle and on rim.
26.12.15 Repaired from many fragments and joins have been painted. Design on the outer surface remains clear and the glaze is still shiny.
26.12.26 The vessel has been repaired from ca. 10 fragments, however, part of the lip and three pieces from the shoulder are missing. There is also accumulation of deposits, especially in the interior, as well as some spots that have been pitted off.
26.12.7 Repaired from sixteen pieces, although missing a large fragment (6.0) from one side, including one handle. Decoration very worn. Fabric roughened on one side, where it is more orange than on the rest of the vessel. Interior blackened with dirt.
26.4.1A-B Much repair to lid which was in fragments but now almost complete apart from small piece of rim from underside. Paint dull on lid but remains clear on bottom piece. Two feet have been repaired and repainted and small part of lower rim is missing.
26.7.2 The vessel consists of two pieces and is repaired. The stem and part of the body are joined together. There are five bits missing from the rim and upper body, as well as bits from the joining parts, where there is also a gouge. In few spots the colour has been peeled off (body of bull, handles).
27.3.3 Complete but has been restored on one side and one handle has been repaired in two places. Small chips in base.
27.4.11 Repaired from many fragments, but heavily restored in the lower part.
27.4.12 Complete; repaired from seven pieces. The rim is uneven, and contains two small but definite chips. All over the surface are small scratches and patches of wear. The pattern on the rim contains few subtle patches of red, the same colour as patches on the handles. Patterns in the centre of the bowl appear to have rubbed away in patches. Underneath, the patterns remain more prominant, but again small patches of wear are evident, especially around the rim. Inside the foot are greyish white deposits, that are also found underneath the rim in small patches near the handles.
27.4.2 Incomplete and repaired in seven pieces. The band on the rim, has mostly been rubbed away and on the inside there is a lot of greyish/white deposit. There are lots of small scratches all over the surface, including one long, deeper one at the base of the pot on the inside. On the outside, the glaze has also been rubbed away in patches, and on the leaves there are patches where it has come away in flakes. The foot is in pretty good condition, except for a white/cream deposit.
29.11.3 The neck and handle have been repaired and rejoined to the body. There is a scratch on the upper body surface and two tiny bits that been chipped off. The vessel looks burnt (apparently from a burnt grave).
29.11.4 Incomplete and repaired and appearing to be extremely fragile.
29.11.5 Incomplete and repaired in many pieces. Paint remains clear although the gloss inside has worn away.
30.11.4 Complete but repaired. The paint has become very faded on the exterior more than the interior surface. The handles are intact, but the paint is lost. Material is very soft and fine.
33.4.3 There are some bits that have been pitted off and some spots that have been chipped off, especially from the rim (exterior and interior), the neck and the handle. There are also some scratches on the white colour area, whereas the foot has been repaired and rejoined to the body.
34.10.3 Repaired mouth with some parts missing. Design still clear to distinguish.
34.8.1 Neck has been repaired. Object is complete. Surface is badly damaged and paint has suffered from age on all areas. Nike herself, remains clear and undamaged.
34.8.6 Mouth has been repaired. Paint worn on mouth and handle. Deposits on base. Main zone design remains colourful but faded in parts.
34.8.7 Mouth, neck and handle all repaired. Chips to foot and base.
34.8.8 Black has largely faded to red. Mouth and stem are faded badly. Scratches to back of pot. Base has been repaired.
35.4.1 Complete but repaired and restored with plaster. Design remains very clear.
35.4.4 The handle has been repaired (rejoined with the body at its spring). There are many bits that have been pitted off from the vessel, especially at the lip and handle, as well as a scratch below the handle. Approximately one third of the vessel (lip, neck, handle and left side of almost half the body) is silvery glossy. The rest is glazed.
37.11.5 Handle has been repaired; rim chipped; Gloss flaked off at places on the body, handles and the resting surface; small crack in centre of underside. Intact but assembled from 2 pieces. One handle, part of rim and body assembled.
37.7.5 Complete but repaired in both sides. White, chalky deposits around handles. Paint slightly chipped on rim, handles, and exterior. Design remains clear and colourful although side A is clearer and in slightly better condition than side B.
45.10.22 There are only 18 fragments preserved from this vessel. These consist of parts of the rim, neck, shoulder and body. a: It is repaired from two fragments, rejoined. Part of the rim (the smallest part of two), neck (including the spring of a triple handle) and shoulder (these consist the second part of this fragment). The fragment is chipped off in many areas (rim: ca. 5 spots/ interior of neck: ca. 10 spots/ neck: ca. 4 spots. There are also gouges on the joining points of the two parts. The upper part (bigger part) of the handle is missing. Apart from tiny bits that have been peeled off from the interior and few deposits, the glaze and colour are preserved in a good condition. b: It consists of three rejoined parts from the vessel's neck. Few bits are missing on the joining point and a spot has even been chipped off, there are deposits and cracking of the colour on the interior, as well as another spot that has been chipped off. Three shallow carvings are also apparent. c: It consists of three parts joined together (two big ones and a small one). Deposits on the interior, three scratches on the exterior, tiny bits that have pitted off and spot that has chipped off from the lower left end. d: Part of the body, colour has fadded away in some spots, and a part has been peeled off. Deposits. e: Part of the body. Deposits but in very good condition, apart from two areas that are chipped off and small bits that are pitted off. f: Part of the body. Apart from deposits in a very good condition. g: Part of the body. Deposits, otherwise in a very good condition. h: Part of the body. Few, tiny bits have been peeled off, also few deposits. i: It consists of two parts of the body. ca. 5 bits have been pitted off and three spots are chipped off; deposits. j: Small fragment in very good condition. k: Small fragment from the body; deposits. l: Small fragment from the body; deposits.
45.10.4 Incomplete and repaired. Chips removed from rim. Glaze lost.
45.6.17 Complete but repaired at mouth and neck. Paint worn on shoulder, front, and foot. Surface has chipped off of some of the design, leaving the surface rough.
45.6.34 Perhaps repaired handle? Gloss is not shiny and s fired red and light brown on parts of the body. Small scratches on the body and the handle.
45.6.72 Design on face has been much rubbed off. Incomplete and repaired with eight segments missing. Handle and body repaired.
45.9.1 Possibly repaired. Paint is in bad condition and surface feels rough as paint has flaked away. Glaze has been lost and the paint on the foot and inside the mouth is untidy and streaky.
47.6.2A-B About two thirds of the top rim of the lid are missing, while one third of its side surface has been reconstructed. The rest of the lid has been repaired through the joining of three fragments; the figural scene has faded. The body is almost intact, only a small bit has been chipped off from the rim, three tiny bits have been pitted off and a small part of it has been reconstructed. The rim of the base also has some pitted off parts.
48.12.11 Half of mouth is missing. Paint worn on handle, but remaining iridescent and lustrious on body. Small chip from base. Repaired on back of body and cracks on front at shoulder.
49.4.1 The mouth is a little chipped and the neck has been repaired. There are bits missing from the shoulder, too. The largest part of the white bands has worn away, as has some of the paint on the foot. There are white and gritty deposits in the mouth and under the handle. The glaze below the meander is streaky. There is also colour loss on the back of the body but this appears to be due to firing.
49.4.2 The vessel is repaired but incomplete, since a large part (1/4) of foot is missing. The lip is also repaired (from two fragments), but a small part is still missing. There is also a cracking on the interior of the rim. Many small bits have been pitted off from the vessel and a few small spots have been chipped off. Additionally, part of the paint on side A is wearing off. There is plaster on the interior of the mouth, as well as plaster and adhesives on other surfaces ((area underneath the rim and on the one handle) and resting surface bears traces of plaster as well and deposits?
50.10.4 The rim has been reconstructed from 2 fragments repaired. The handle has also been rejoined with the vessel and the whole of the upper part (from rim to end of shoulder) has been reattached to the body. The glaze is shiny in places but has begun to crack in others. There are also deposits on the rim, neck, shoulder and foot / base. Several bits have pitted off from the body.
50.3.1 Originally acquired as a box of fragments in 1950 and restored and repaired in 1978. Repainted at breaks. Glaze remains shiny. Possibly retouched paint (?).
50.4.10 Broken across bowl in transit from Leicester, and repaired. Gloss remains shiny and silvery. Bowl assembled form 2 fragments. On the exterior, it is not at parts lustrous, while at parts it is fired to dark brown.
50.4.11 Chip in rim partly repaired but some still missing. Glaze flakked off on rim, handles. Not applied carefully. Handle has been assembed by 2 pieces and part of it is missing.Depositions on the grrove just before the foot.
50.4.7 Mouth and upper part of the neck assembled from a number of small fragments (repaired by Cameron Hahn, 17.08.2005). Large chip on shoulder, smaller on neck and small chip on foot. Quite ggod quality of glaze that retians its shine. Net pattern designe dcarefully although the maendar is quite rough. Scratces on the body.
50.4.8 Complete but repaired where top of handle joins neck. Rim chipped and some lime deposits on underside.
50.5.2 Complete, but foot repaired and paint is therefore missing. Some repainting, specifically on reverse. Small chip to rim.
51.1.2 The vessel is reconstructed by many fragments and has been repaired (it has been conservated and parts of the shoulder and body have been filled in). Some bits of the colour have been peeled off (rim, handle, neck, body) and there are some small spots that are pitted off (rim, body). Lastly, there is a gouge under one of the side handles and another one on the central part of the base.
51.7.11 Repaired in numerous places, with metal hooks at the lower joins; repainted on the lower body. Chipped slightly on the rim and foot.
51.7.5 Complete but repaired at neck. Two small chips on the rim. Small areas of deposit found around the foot. Black very smooth and shiny, as is some of the red.
51.7.7 Complete but part of the rim has been repaired and reattached. Areas of colour loss on the piece particularly around side B.
52.3.1 Complete and repaired. Glaze remains. Body and neck mended from a number of pieces. Small chips around the neck. White deposits on the underside of the foot and on the top of the rim.
56.8.6 Stem appears to have been repaired just above foot. Small chip in rim and edge of the foot. White has faded at parts. Surface is in good condition.
70.3.1 Mouth and neck have been repaired. Large chip to foot. Chips to mouh and lower part of the body. Scratches on the body. Thinly applied gloss on the handle and the lower part of the bodt misfired brown. White deposit built up around foot and on its underside.
71.6.3 Complete but repaired. Figures remain clear but the black glaze has become streaky. Paint surface flaked away inside by one handle revealing the clay.
73.9.31 Two repaired fragments preserving some of the rim
E.62.22 The gaps between some teeth have become adhered by deposits. Others have warped out of shape. There is black discolouration, perhpas due to damp, on one face of the comb. A part has broken from the side but is due to be repaired.
E.63.26 Repaired from two pieces, leaving several large cracks on the pot originating from the base. Large chip on the lip.
E.65.3 Complete, but repaired. There three large breaks in the pot that have been repaired but are still very evident near the rim. Although the surphace is still smooth a large amount of the red pigment on the out side has worn away while similar occurances inside have meant that some of the decoration has been lost.
REDMG:1926.99.52 Surface stained dark, perhaps with modern glaze. Some decoration worn and scratched off; alabastron cracked and repaired at the back end of the sphinx.
REDMG:1935.87.28 Repaired but still missing some sections. Gloss remains shiny inside. Decoration is worn in small areas inside and outside at rim.
REDMG:1935.87.31A Complete but repaired; decoration has mostly flaked off.
REDMG:1935.87.34 Complete but foot has been repaired. Ruddled figures are fading and now orange. Paint around foot is eroding. Deposits at mouth and inside and especially under base.
REDMG:1947.13.1 The mouth has been repaired from five or more fragments, each handle from three fragments (with some parts missing and restored on the left handle). The body is reconstructed from 15 or more fragments and the foot has been restored in wood. There is a hole (perhaps original). In the base. Slightly chipped on the mouth, pitted, and scratched; traces of white plaster on the external surface, while the interior and bottom are covered with plaster. Faded decoration in patches.
REDMG:1951.149.1 Rim cracked and repaired but still with a piece missing. Handle has also been repaired. Deposits inside and a little on base.
REDMG:1964.1628 Complete but one handle has been repaired. Much erosion of gloss on outer rim.
REDMG:1964.1688.1 Repaired in two pieces. Paint has faded on exterior surface and there are white deposits on the exposed clay at fracture. Small chips to rim.
REDMG:1997.209.1 Comprised of five or more rejoined fragments, repaired with plaster on the neck and left side of body; chipped, especially on the rim; surface darkened (stained) and dulled with grey deposits.
TEMP.2002.9.26 Repaired. Paint has worn on the interior surface and on the lower black band. The swan remains clear.
