45.6.26 Complete and intact, except for a large chip 2.8cm out of base. Interior worn in the centre, scratches around interior and exterior, edge of rim worn. Body patches of white deposit. Gloss of quite good quality that has however lost its brightness.
47.2.11 Gloss of quite good quality, but at places it has lost its lustre; some gloss chipped off of rim and base.
47.2.15 Complete, no chips, paint quite faded. The inside surface is worn.
50.12.39 Single fragment, quite chipped, decoration somewhat worn away.
50.4.6 Mended from a number of joining fragments. Small fragment from the body is missing. Gloss is quite lustrous on the exterior, but rough and worn on the interior and the underside of the foot. Chips around the rim and the body. Deposits on the underside.
50.4.7 Mouth and upper part of the neck assembled from a number of small fragments (repaired by Cameron Hahn, 17.08.2005). Large chip on shoulder, smaller on neck and small chip on foot. Quite ggod quality of glaze that retians its shine. Net pattern designe dcarefully although the maendar is quite rough. Scratces on the body.
50.5.1 Badly fired leaving traces of red, especialy around lower body. Intact despite dents and scratches to body and handle. Only traces of the white design remain. Major grey/white deposit build up on base and interior. Gloss is quite lustrous.
56.8.4 The vessel appears to be cracked in several places and the handle has been rejoined. It is also quite glossy.
83.10.1 Quite badly worn. It has been glued back together using three fragments. There seems to be a fragment missing at the bottom of the statue, therefore the figurine is incomplete. Most of the features of the statue are badly worn. There are many soil deposits all over the figure. Inside the hollow figurine there appears to be some sort of plant.
E.23.11 Intact and complete, with many scratches on the top of the trapezoid. There is a large black deposit on the base, which viscous to the touch so is probably quite recent.
E.23.12 There is quite a large chip on one corner, and a chip removed from the same side. There is quite a large amount of black deposit all over the object obscuring it's natural colour.
E.23.17 A large amount of skin coloured paint has chipped of, particularly around the bottom and edges of the object. The paint on the chest is quite well preserved. There is a large fragment missing from the right shoulder which also removes part of the lower right hand side of the pace. The nose and eye work has been removed or fallen off. A large amount of black paint has chipped of the top of the object. There is also a hole in top of the head and a large crack originating on the lefthand side of 'hair' and ending near the base of the face.
E.23.18 Intact if not complete. The areas where parts of the headdress has fallen off is quite worn. There are three deep holes in the headress that are symetrical about a crack that goes from the top of the headdress to the mouth. There is also a second crack on the right hand side from top to the base of the head, going through the eye.
E.23.44 Intact and complete. The blue glaze is quite worn in some areas, most notably at the top of the crown where it has toally worn away and reveals the original terracotta material. This is slightly true also around the ears.
E.62.49 Intact but not complete. The top right quater of the painted scene is gone. The wood is not particularly degraded and the actual remaining inscription is well preserved and quite clear.
E.63.13C Single fragment. The blue glaze is well preserved, and there is very little visible damage to the surface although it is quite rough to the touch.
E.63.25 Intact, with several small defects on body and one quite large one towards the base, and large, elongated areas of deposits, one at top of body the other towards base. Surface of base is worn.
L.2011.1.57 Quite intact, with one vertex missing; roughly hewn on the underside and chipped around the edges.
REDMG:1953.25.83 Intact if fragmentary. The facial features, especially the nose and right ear, have worn down quite considerably although it is still clear what they are meant to be. The line of breakage is straight, falling from the right ear to the middle of the left side of the neck.
REDMG:1953.25.96 Facial features quite worn but enough remains to distinguish gender. Built up with grey deposits.
REDMG:1953.25.98 Fragment broken off from a larger item. There is a large amount of white pigment remaining on the suface; this suggests that it was originally white in colour. The nose is quite short, perhaps because it has been worn down.
TEMP.2002.7.1 Intact. The rim suffers from several chips, one in particular quite large, opposite one of the handles. There is also evidence of wear on the glaze, as there is on the inside of the bowl. On the band inside the bowl can be found three deeper scratches, as well as the occasional small hole. The handles of the bowl also reveal small chips on their glaze, as well as small scratches. The band which leads down to and envelops the top of the foot, contains small scratches, and where it meets the foot are lots of small cracks in the glaze. There is also some yellowy/grey deposit, which we can also see on the base of the foot. The base is chipped slightly in places and there are small scratches in the glazed bands.
TEMP.2003.7.42 Single fragment, quite worn and indented on one side, perhaps where a handle attached. Surface very badly scratched. Black deposit in one corner (thickly applied black glaze?)
TEMP.2003.8.1 Pattern is worn on both parts. (a) black of decoration almost completely faded, chipped throughout. (b) decoration not quite as worn as on the other part of the rim, joined in three places.
TEMP.2007.3.75 red and green weathering discolouration; images quite worn; 2 small dents on edge but mainly complete
