Shape Oinochoe
Shape_description Trefoil lipped oinochoe with rounded protrusions either side of neck-handle join. Single curved handle that reaches over into mouth, appears to have had an oblong pattern, and is flanked by moulded protrusions at the top and bottom. Wide neck with a groove at juncture with bulbous body. Ring foot reserved and base raised.

Decoration Reserved on interior, starting ca. 5 cm below rim; otherwise black glazed, with some (modern?) white overpaint: traces of white vertical strokes around lip; two white bands around neck above groove; body pattern is in (modern) white flower motif inside oblong block pattern.
Inscriptions
Condition Badly fired leaving traces of red, especialy around lower body. Intact despite dents and scratches to body and handle. Only traces of the white design remain. Major grey/white deposit build up on base and interior. Gloss is quite lustrous.
Technique/Style Black glaze; added white
