22.9.8 Intact. In good condition, surface shows little sign of wear except tiny cracks in gloss, and a scratch on the horses back, near hind. Small areas of white deposit on back right horses leg/tail, neck and front right leg and top of riders head.
23.11.31A2 The head is missing. The left arm has broken off below the wrist, and the feet are missing. There are two small holes in the lower skirt.
23.11.31B Slightly chipped; spear has broken off completely; head and some of helmet are missing.
23.11.31B2 The head of the figure is missing, as is the right lower quarter of the skirt. The remaining left quarter of the skirt has almost broken away.
23.11.31BB The head of the figure has broken off, as has the top of the spear. There is a section missing from the right of the shield, and the central boss has almost become detached. Te right foot is also missing. There are further fracture-lines extending at nine o'clock from the top of the figure and across the shield from the centre.
23.11.31C2 The tips of the wings appear incomplete. The head has broken off, and the hem of the skirt is corroded.
23.11.31T The head is missing, and the left leg has broken away at mid-thigh.
23.11.31UU Two fragments connected at the waistline. The upper torso fragment is missing the head, and the left arm is broken off at the elbow at a point which seems to continue the fracture line. The lower, skirt fragment is missing the feet.
23.11.31XXX The head is missing. Both arms are broken off at the shoulder. The left foot is missing below the ankle, and the right foot is entirely absent.
23.11.31Z The head, top of the spear, and left leg are missing, but otherwise in good condition.
26.7.10 Incomplete. Apart from the head missing, there is little damage. There are small holes and scratches on the surface, front and back. The white slip has almost completely worn away, evident now only in small areas.
29.11.13 Missing (part of) head. Large areas of brownish-grey deposit all over body, with areas of white slip showing through in some places and chipped off elsewhere. On stomach, in between two front legs, is a small hole, perhaps from the firing process.
34.10.16 Comprised of two rejoined pieces. Decoration on the front has faded, and resting surface is very uneven, as is the back. There are small scratches all over the surface and small holes at the top of the head. The back reveals lots of small cracks and holes. There is a white deposit on the chest area, which can also be found inside the base, as well as running along the cracks on the back.
34.10.19 Complete and intact. The surface of the woman is incredibly smooth, the features of the face nearly worn away. There is a large scratch on the woman's right shoulder. As well as patches of white slip that is still evident, there is a smoky covering to the head, chest and knees. The base is very uneven.
34.10.22 Incomplete. Back broken away - had long rectangular opening. Scratches evident all over surface, and white deposit at top of head and down left arm.
34.10.23 Comprised of one large piece and three small pieces at the bottom, which have been rejoined. Missing the left foot and lower left portion of the figurine (previously restored or reattached: traces of glue and modern white plaster remain. Almost no traces of colour remain, except red on some of the head. White surface covered with grayish-tan deposits. Chipped on the back of the top of the head.
34.10.24 Complete but not intact. Top of left arm has broken off and been glued back on. Blue of cloak still faintly visible, but a lot of brown deposit is evident all over the figurine. The top of the head is covered with an even darker deposit, that also encases right shoulder and arm. The swan is also entirely covered by it. Inside the back of the figurine is a whitish deposit, and the surface is very rough, with scratches and air bubbles in it.
34.10.25 Complete but not intact. The figure has been broken in two and pieced back together. Other than that, the only thing wrong is the patches of brown/grey deposit on the head and shoulders, on the back, down some of the folds in the robe, on the vase and at the base, around the feet.
34.10.26 Intact but not complete. Detail of the hair remains very clear, but the features on the face are less so. The eyes have been worn almost completely away, and the nose has a chip in one side. At the top of the forhead, just where the hair begins, is a hole. The top and back are uneven and show small holes on the surface. There is a small amount of dirty deposit at the base of the neck, and inside the hollow of the head.
45.10.5 Comprised of nine rejoined fragments and nine loose fragments, one of which shows the head and shoulders of a youth, badly damaged in fire. Five pieces were badly damaged when it was found in 1979 - more detailed in Ure inventory. Underside has been repainted. Exterior surface design is in remarkably good condition considering the damage done to the interior surface. Stem remains but the foot is completely missing.
47.2.28 Intact, but large part of body broken off, also part of right side of the head. Concretion build up below chin and neck. Large deposits along left hand side.
47.2.29 Lower part of body missing. Concretion all over figurine, especially at the back of the head and left hand side of body.
50.12.50 Single fragment preserving the upper part, from the head to the lower part of the chest. Chipped at the top. Decoration is almost rubbed off in many places.
57.3.11 Deposits. Small chips to top of head. Patches of very pale brown.
59.2.7 All that remains of the mummified cat is the head and neck, from which most wrappings have been removed. The head is in a good state of preservation, showing whiskers & teeth. Enclosed note written in pencil on the back of a printed piece of paper is also well preserved and legible. Cork stopper, seemingly original to the 1890s acquisition of the head, is covered in newspaper which is also well preserved and legible.
67.6.1 Fine.It's artist has copied the broken original head.
E.23.17 A large amount of skin coloured paint has chipped of, particularly around the bottom and edges of the object. The paint on the chest is quite well preserved. There is a large fragment missing from the right shoulder which also removes part of the lower right hand side of the pace. The nose and eye work has been removed or fallen off. A large amount of black paint has chipped of the top of the object. There is also a hole in top of the head and a large crack originating on the lefthand side of 'hair' and ending near the base of the face.
E.23.18 Intact if not complete. The areas where parts of the headdress has fallen off is quite worn. There are three deep holes in the headress that are symetrical about a crack that goes from the top of the headdress to the mouth. There is also a second crack on the right hand side from top to the base of the head, going through the eye.
E.23.54 Intact and complete, the glaze has worn away as has a lot of the green colour particularly around the head and shoulders.
E.23.57 Intact and complete, most of the glaze and a large portion of the green pigment is gone. The are several large cracks on the body underneath the head. A large amount of detail is missing particularly the inscription and the shoulder decoration.
E.62.3 Single fragment. The image is complete except for the large chip in the head of the worshipper. There is also Red pigment remaining on his body. The bottom left of the fragment has no image and is speckled with a grey deposit.
E.62.4 Intact not complete (the head is missing). The detail is becoming less desinite and the underside has become dirty with what appears to be watermarks. There are small amounts of black deposit sparcely placed around the artefact.
E.62.51 Intact. On the underside the wood is apparently water damaged and there is some rotting at the end of the cobra where it presumably once joined to the larger object (crown). There is a large crack on the underside near the very top head of the cobra.
E.62.53 Intact, but missing what is stated above. There is some degredation of the wood and alot of the detail is missing. There are holes on the head and base where extra detail has disapperared.
E.63.19 Intact but the point of the head is blunted as if the sharpest part has been snapped off.
E.63.21 Shaft broken off in a slanted break which has broken some of the head off as well. the head is tarnished
E.63.22 Corrosion on the lower part of the head, a hole through the shaft and the nib of the arrow is blunt.
L.2005.10.3 Slightly chipped but intact and incomplete (Aphrodite missing head and lower arms)
L.2016.3.25 The portrait head is worn, the reverse side seems to be better preserved. Not purged of deposits, so everything is just barely discernible.
L.2016.3.31 Complete. The head has been broken at neck, the right leg at thigh and the feet have been broken off the base slab, but all of them were pieced together. Few whitish-grey deposits around the feet and neck, and very slight scratches on surface; one big chip on left cheek.
REDMG:1935.87.35 Incomplete. Only head remains, no body. Lots of detail on both face and head, but both are marred by whitish deposit. Detail at tip of the head has broken off.
REDMG:1951.141 Rim slightly chipped; greyish-brown deposits, especially around the woman's head and the rim and interior.
REDMG:1953.25.101 Deposits all over. Small, elongated hole in back of head with a white stone in clay above. Features are worn.
REDMG:1953.25.102 Intact. Small scratch on top of lion's head, and cracks running from top of back, down through back right foot into base. Crack in front right foot. Front shows traces of white slip. Back shows areas of grey deposit on remaining white slip.
REDMG:1953.25.104 Broken at neck, top of head missing on right hand side. Reverse side is discoloured with deposits.
REDMG:1953.25.87 Head of horseman, part of head and back legs of horse missing. Patches of white deposits. Some pink on side of figure.
REDMG:1953.25.97 Features remain well defined despite having collected small white deposits. Back of the head is more worn than the front.
REDMG:1953.25.99 Head missing above shoulders. Uneven base, perhaps was attached to something else and acted as a decoration(?). Some dark red deposits on front. Some scratches to knee. White deposits on reverse.
REDMG:1964.1159.1 Horse is broken in several places. Difficult to tell if tail has been broken or whether it ever existed. One front and one back leg missing. Head of horse also absent. Painted bands badly worn. White deposits on back of horse.
TEMP.2003.7.30 Intact, complete, paint has faded all over figurine, a chip on the left side of the head, and also on the right arm.
TEMP.2003.7.47 Complete. Head of Augustus in good condition. Reverse slightly worn.
