Decoration Part of block XIV and blocks XV, XVIII, XIX and XX of the north frieze of the Parthenon, showing a section of the procession of the Panathenaic festival. Two three-horse chariots carrying one armoured male (with helmet, muscles cuirass and shield) and one female at the reins each are shown proceeding leftwards with each accompanied by a male marshal. Blocks XVI and XVII have been skipped. Blocks XIV, XIX have been reconstructed following damage to the originals; block XV has been reconstructed from drawings; blocks XVIII and XX are reconstructed from scratch following loss of originals
