Slightly incurving lip, with a carination just below the rim, narrowing with convex sides to a flat base, with convex sides just above base. Wire cutting marks in circular design on base. On the interior, the centre of the bowl rises up slightly.

Decorated with black slip inside and out; dipped. The base is reserved except at the edges where drip marks extend over it.

Condition

Intact. Surface worn in patches throughout, especially at the bottom of the bowl. Yellowish-grey adhesions on the underside.
