14.9.37 Thickness of clay is irregular and thickest at bottom of fragment. The black paint is dull and streaky. On the outer surface the areas between the black are creamy-yellow at top but become pinker towards the bottom.
14.9.43 Extremely streaky black paint on interior surface. Some black is wearing from the exterior surface but only towards the lower end of the fragment.
2008.7.127 Fragment, chipped and scratched. Large chip towards top of exterior where a handle appears to have come off. Handwritten on interior in ink: '31 M IV 1-1.5 8L5'.
2008.7.13 Fragment broken on five sides, glaze worn off towards one edge and badly chipped surface
2008.7.149 Fragment, chipped. Exterior a deep scratch towards the centre, and the darker wash is wearing away to reveal a different wash beneath.
2008.7.154 Fragment, sides and faces chipped. Three large holes in a diagonal line towards one corner.
2008.7.8 Single fragment, broken on three sides, with decoration worn towards edges.
29.5.1 Intact. Large flake from surface taken from towards base. Colours remain strong. Black paint at bottom of body has suffered the worst.
45.6.13 Intact, but badly worn on the surface so that the design is crude and lacking detail. Black paint at neck, mouth and towards base has almost completely worn away. 'Chunks' of clay missing in three or four places on body.
47.2.7 Mended from a number of joining fragments. Small parts filled in with plaster (especially on left side. Gloss flaked off on part of the handle,rim and body. It is not lustrous. Towards the foot, thinly applied gloss that leaves parts of the clay to be seen.
48.12.12 Intact. Paint badly worn on mouth and handle. Small chips from body towards foot.
50.4.12 Gloss somewhat worn on one side of rim and handles; resting surface, rim, handles chipped. Glaze is not lustrous, On the exterior towards the foot fired to brownish
51.7.1 Almost perfect condition except for slight discolouration of black gloss towards foot and a few tiny chips all over the vessel.
73.9.3 Fragment. Handle broken at tip, with small patches of wear all over. Scratch on the left side of the handle, pointing towards rim. Only a suggestion of rim remaining. Pinky, grey deposits on inside of rim and suggestion of the same up the outside of the handle.
91.12.2 Intact, however top partially chipped away towards right edge left side. Covered in soil deposits.
E.63.25 Intact, with several small defects on body and one quite large one towards the base, and large, elongated areas of deposits, one at top of body the other towards base. Surface of base is worn.
REDMG:1935.87.10 Intact. Part of one handle coming away at join. Badly eroded inside and towards top on the outer surface.
REDMG:1953.25.36 Light grayish-tan deposits on lip and underside; whitish-grey deposits on neck and shoulder; much of surface has eroded; glaze cracking towards base.
