26.12.7 Repaired from sixteen pieces, although missing a large fragment (6.0) from one side, including one handle. Decoration very worn. Fabric roughened on one side, where it is more orange than on the rest of the vessel. Interior blackened with dirt.
26.12.8 Incomplete. Most of neck and all of mouth are missing. The decoration all over is very faded, especially on the body, leaving the surface very smooth. There is a large hole in one side just at the bottom of the main zone. The top and edge of the foot is chipped, on the inside of the resting surface is a small hole. There is a small amount of orange deposit on the resting surface of the foot.
26.4.3A-B One handle is missing entirely and the other one is only part there. There are orange and white deposits on the underside of the body and the black on the inside has worn to a dark brown color. The rim of the lid has a large fragment missing.
45.6.60 Mouth broken, base chipped. Original grey worn away to show then pale orange terracotta.
48.4.1 Complete, but stuck back together from six seperate pieces. The rim shows one definite chip, and several small ones. The leaves on top of the rim have worn away in patches. The main zone also shows patches of wear, the surface revealing different colours, some paler clay, and some more orange. A white deposit is evident on the thick black band above the foot as well as some small scratches. The thin black band around the rim of the foot has mostly worn away. Inside, the black has scratches and flaked away to reveal the reserved clay. There is also more white deposit on the inside walls of the pot.
50.12.18 Chip on the exterior to the lower left, while the interior has a small hairline crack (?) beneath the orange circles.
E.2003.9.1 Base has a large chip in it resulting in a deep whole just above the base; large amounts of white and orange deposit all over the jar.
E.62.8 Intact and the surface remains smooth although discoloured to red, green, yellow, black, brown and orange. There is still lustre on the surface and the incised lines are still clear except for the two on the outer surface. Two small holes have formed in the folded over rim.
REDMG:1935.87.34 Complete but foot has been repaired. Ruddled figures are fading and now orange. Paint around foot is eroding. Deposits at mouth and inside and especially under base.
REDMG:2004.95.1 Restored (foot and handle) smoothed over with plaster (especially clear at join of handle to body and neck) with repainting (especially on handle). White glue remains where the foot was (more recently?) rejoined. Surface scratched and stained a dark orange (perhaps intentionally); dent just above foot.
TEMP.2003.8.64 Complete and intact. On the right, top area of hair terracotta is chipped to reveal orange colour.
TEMP.2007.3.58 orange discolouration; weathered but only slightly worn; oddly shaped but seemingly complete
TEMP.2007.3.80 orange surface is pickled; not too worn; 2 chips on the edge
