14.9.107 Rim is chipped away, as is foot, so that object stands unevenly. Gloss worn and scratched on the interior and exterior. It retains lustre.
2003.8.63 Chipped and with lots of grey and white deposits. Bottom side appears to have what could be a smudge as there is a straight line that is shiner and a darker shade of brown compared to the rest of the object.
2008.9.10 Cast seems to be complete, but original object was most likely broken, as the back half of the ship and half of one of the harpies is missing. Metal hook attached to top of cast for hanging.
2008.9.35 Fragment; handle mostly complete, but rest of object is missing.
2016.3.2 Complete and intact. Some white chips on bottom and sides of the lamp. Whitish-grey deposits on the whole object, especially on interior.
22.3.36 Fragmentary with numerous chips across the edges of the exterior and interior of the artefact, the face of the object and its handle. Countless, small chunks of paint are missing from both the outer and inner faces of the artefact.
22.3.38 Fragmentary and slightly chipped on the sides, with numerous patches of paint having been chipped off from the exterior. Interior of object is in much better condition.
22.3.4 Incomplete as one handle and part of rim are missing. Heavy deposits inside and white, thinner ones on mouth and handle. Base damaged so object does not sit properly.
26.5.1 Foot missing resulting in skyphos not standing upright. Glaze has been lost on the inside of the object. Crack down one side.
27.3.8 Intact but with deep chips in body. Top half of object very badly worn, and decoration faded.
30.4.2 Worn paint on mouth. Some wearing on goat but added colour remains. Shinier glazse remains on the base of the object than on the top.
34.10.10 Intact. White, gritty deposits inside the object. Lustre has worn away on mouth and top half of body. Small chips out of rim. Small scratches on base.
34.8.1 Neck has been repaired. Object is complete. Surface is badly damaged and paint has suffered from age on all areas. Nike herself, remains clear and undamaged.
38.12.1 Glaze remains shiny and the paint has only worn away in small sections at the back. Large chips taken from the front of the object obscuring parts of the picture.
45.6.30 Chipped on mouth and base. Surface scratched. White deposits on whole object.
45.6.6 Base badly damaged. Paint on underside is faded to red. Grey deposits inside object and inside conical foot.
47.2.24 Good, but missing one handle, paint slightly faded and pinkish in places. Base not completely flat so object slightly unstable
51.7.9 Very worn around handle, mouth and one side of object. Suprisingly clear decorative banding and leaf motif in places. Intact.
57.7.9 Very worn around handle, mouth and one side of object. Suprisingly clear decorative banding and leaf motif in places. Intact.
71.12.5 Two holes have been restored with transparent material. The end of the strigil is damaged. Discolouration of bronze to green, blue and black. Only a couple of areas of the true bronze colour remains. A couple of cracks have appeared making the object fragile.
83.2.3 Fragment covered with black deposit, clearly broken off from another object, and is rough and bumpy, likely owing to damage caused over time.
E.23.12 There is quite a large chip on one corner, and a chip removed from the same side. There is quite a large amount of black deposit all over the object obscuring it's natural colour.
E.23.17 A large amount of skin coloured paint has chipped of, particularly around the bottom and edges of the object. The paint on the chest is quite well preserved. There is a large fragment missing from the right shoulder which also removes part of the lower right hand side of the pace. The nose and eye work has been removed or fallen off. A large amount of black paint has chipped of the top of the object. There is also a hole in top of the head and a large crack originating on the lefthand side of 'hair' and ending near the base of the face.
E.23.29 appears to have no restoration or recent damage. The pottery is very rough with innumerable shallow chips, and there is a large amount of white deposit all over the object, a particularly large patch can be found near the base.
E.23.38 Intact, it is clear from the top and bottom part of the artefact that it has been removed from a larger object, since they appear to be thinner than the rest of the object and therefore look like 'connectors' of some kind. There appears to be very little degradation of the wood. There are some remnants of a white pigment on the lower half.
E.47.6.7 Intact and complete, very shallow scratches all over the object.
E.62.10 Intact if fragmentary, the wood is somewhat degraded and there are three large chips, two at the top and one running along the side of the main body. It is clear from the state of the state of the foot that it has been snapped off a larger object.
E.62.42 Single fragment intact and well preserved although it is unclear how much of the original object is preserved.
E.62.48 Intact if only a fragment. The glyphs are still very clear, except one of the right hand side, the fourt glyph down, that has been rubbed away. There is also a white deposit at the bottom of the object on the right. Overall there has been very little degredation of the wood.
E.62.51 Intact. On the underside the wood is apparently water damaged and there is some rotting at the end of the cobra where it presumably once joined to the larger object (crown). There is a large crack on the underside near the very top head of the cobra.
E.62.52 Intact. There are chips all over the object, some that just remove paint others that take some wood as well, particularly on the the left side of the beetle its self. There is a large white deposit on the right wing whcih has collected where some paint has chipped away.
E.65.11 Intact. Small area of polished metal showing through on rectangular extension but not reflective. Major discolouration and deterioration to the surface of both sides. Small surface scratches. Does not sit flat so the object must be slightly bent.
E.65.15 Intact if fragmentary, no colour is lost although the surface is rough in some areas suggesting a loss in glaze, one end displays characteristics of having been snapped of a larger object.
L.2016.3.10 Badly worn surface, so it's difficult to see any details of the features and hair. Light grey-yellowish deposits on the interior of the object as well as the handle and rim.
REDMG:1935.87.7 Intact. Misfired slightly on back of object. Untidy on base. Much white detail remains visible.
REDMG:1953.25.23 Mouth missing. The surface has flaked away on much of the object, and it is pitted at the back; base and top of foot are chipped.
REDMG:1958.117.1 18 rejoined fragments comprising 90% of the original object, with some painted plaster sections, now chipped. Sheen on surface has eroded, especially on the inside of one handle; scratched elsewhere.
REDMG:1964.1653.1 Neck and mouth missing. Base damaged. Some damage to the side of the object - appears to have been crushed on one sode.
REDMG:1964.1681.1 White deposits have collected inside the object. Some areas of exterior surface are uneven.
REDMG:1964.1719.1 Over half of the object is missing, but the half that remains is in good condition with no significant damage. Some deposits have collected in base.
