2007.4.196 Fragment; made of two fragments glued together
2008.7.130 Dirty and badly scratched. Piece of wood stuck through the handle-possibly there when made, but unclear. In at an angle, where fragment is broken the hole is smaller.
2018.6.1 The holes along the edge may have been made to bind the tablet to a lid or another tablet with cord. The grooves may be where excess wax was scraped off the stylus. There are several perforations down one edge, which would have allowed several such tablets to be strung together to form a book. One of the raised edges has been broken off. Some surface wear and staining.
22.9.3 Black faded and covered in white deposit. Complete but not intact, body made of six fragments joined together. 4cm crack along rim as well as smaller chips. Also chips on base and handles.
25.8.5 Complete but made up of seven seperate pices stuck back together. The handle has several chips, on the middle and lower tiers. The tip of the highest tier has also been chipped, and all over the handle, the gloss shows evidence of wear, with tiny cracks and scratches. The top of the lid shows a few small flakes and chips, mainly on the decoration, and eratically over the surface, there is brown/grey deposit. The inside of the lid is reserved but still shows patches of dirt and a small amount of grey/white deposit around the rim.
33.4.2 Complete but not intact. Rim of foot made up with plaster. Decoration worn in places, small holes and scratches all over surface. Lower bands on foot half missing because of restoration with modern materials, as is one handle.
45.6.48 Complete and intact, base reveals that it was roughly made. Deposits of dirt on the surface.
45.6.65 Broken in half, roughly made and with chips along rim edge.
49.8.9 Intact, except for tiny chips on the rim and three small gouges on the lower body. The vessel's condition is very good, as the paint is not worn and the glaze remains. There is a dent in the body but this was made during production. Only slight wearing of the purple dots but not so as they become indistinguishable.
83.9.16.a The plate is not intact, there are two separate fragments with the larger fragment made up of four rejoined pieces.
E.62.29 Complete, but made of two pieces stuck back together. Several chips in the lip.
L.2011.1.25 Chipped and scored all over especially on one face, covered in brown sediment and possibly made out of (granite?)
TEMP.2002.9.16 Nose is missing (as it probably is from the original). Hair is uneven as parts of the cast are missing from one side. Cast is placed on a black stand, also made of plaster.
