| Shape_description | Rounded rim on a concave lip, above shallow bowl; just below lip are attached two round horizontal handles, rectangular in shape, slightly incurving. | Decoration | Decorated entirely in black glaze except for the decorated tondo, the reserved resting surface (and perhaps also reserved handle zones which are, however, unclear because it is obscured by deposits). The centre of the bowl is decorated with a reserved circle in which is seated an abstracted human figure, perhaps a Scythian (wearing a mitra), holding a drinking horn. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Condition | Intact. Accretions from river sediment (light greyish brown, with some reddish brown in areas) cover most of the vase, especially the handles and foot, where the deposits have built up. The interior surface is pitted on reserved areas, and glazed surfaces are scratched and eroded, especially on the interior of the bowl and the lip. | ||||||||||||||||||
