Shape Skyphos
Shape_description Rounded, slightly everted rim, below which are attached two horizontal handles, rounded on the outsides and slightly flattened on the insides, slightly canted and rising above the rim. Body bulges slightly below handles but otherwise tapers gradually to a thick raised base, which is slightly broader than the lowest part of the body. The underside is circumscribed with a lightly gouged band.

Munsell_color 7.5YR 7/4
Decoration Glazed black all over except on the reserved underside, including resting surface. A large gouge (blown out from the firing process) mars the lower body.
Inscriptions
Condition Chip near base below one handle. Greyish-white deposits on interior and on one handle; glaze worn off on other handle, rim and large parts of body.
