Decoration Blue glaze fragment, part of the lip of a flat dish or bowl. On the exterior two concentric ridges encircle the lip. On the interior a series of darker blue lines run parallel to the exterior ridges.
Inscriptions
Condition Single fragment. The blue glaze is well preserved. There are several very shallow scratches on the surface and one large chip missing from the lower of the sculpted lines.
Technique/Style
Provenance Memphis, from a spoilt load in the lower levels of the city.
