Shape Lamp
Shape_description Circular body with a gradual concave discus with a filling hole in the centre. Flat medium nozzle with concave sides and a rounded tip with a large circular wick hole in the centre. Small circular, unmarked base, very slightly concave.
Material Terracotta
Fabric Cypriote
Fabric_description Brownish-orangy beige clay. No visible inclusions
Munsell_color 10YR 7/4
Decoration Three moulded rings around the edge of the discus, single volutes on either side of the nozzle. Wash of red to black.
Inscriptions
Condition Intact, small hole in left hand side of the body, wash fading in places with a large amount of white deposit on the body and on the discus. Chip on surface of discus.
