Shape Lamp
Shape_description Circular body, flat moulded shoulder, small concave discus with a small off center filling hole. Short flat nozzle, rounded tip with a slightly irregular wick hole that cuts into the shoulder area. Vertical handle which reaches down towards the base and attaches around the shoulder. Circular delineated base, slightly concave.

Decoration Moulded boarder on the shoulder, two rings around the discus one of which is raised, within is a peacock displaying tail with head turned to its left, perhaps standing on a branch. Pale buff wash.
Inscriptions
Condition Intact, handle is missing the top half, decoration is very worn. Wash is mostly intact with a white deposit in areas. Very slight darkening around the tip of the nozzle probably from use.
