Shape_description | Everted, concave rim, with round lip, offset by a carination from a shallow bowl, tapering sharply to a short stem that broadens to a moulded foot, concave in profile, with a nearly flat resting surface, grooved just within the resting surface, hollowed and conical within; a slightly incurving d-shaped handle rises up, on either side, from the centre of the bowl to the height of the kylix. |

Decoration | Glazed black on interior, except for a reserved concentric band in the middle of the bowl. Exterior: Black-glazed rim, exterior of handles, lowest part of body, stem, and upper part of foot. The lower part of the body is decorated with a floral frieze, consisting of (on either side) three palmettes. On side A, and the right palmette on side B, each palmette is dotted on either side of the central petal. The right-most palmette on side A has a vertical band (drip?) to its right. The left-most palmette on side B has a vertical worm on either side of it. Under each handle is an upright ivy leaf. Below this frieze are two narrow black bands. |

Condition | Intact and complete except for a chip in the foot. Surface chipped and worn, especially on handles. White and grey deposit on handles and foot; black dulled to red in places. |
