Shape Face mug
Shape_description Flaring lip with rounded rim, sharply joined to ovoid body; single round, curved vertical handle rises up from alongside the lip and rejoins at the shoulder; lower part of body sharply joins to a short, flaring foot, concave on the underside, with a pointed underside.

Decoration On the body, opposite the handle, is modelled a triangular human face, with slanted eyebrows, bulging closed eyes, a straight pointed nose, tight lips, and a pointed chin.
Inscriptions
Condition Intact. The rim mended from 2 fragments. Small chips to rim. Lustre remains although some paint has chipped away around rim, handle. Slight scratches and chips on body. White deposits on the underside of the foot.
