Shape_description

Vertical sided, slightly outturned rim; ridge between rim and body; another ridge at top of stem; top part of stem channelled; stem broadens out into a wide foot; conical underside.

Decoration

Interior black. Main zone, lotus chain, dotted. Lower part of body black with one red band. Purple moulding at junction of stem and body. Top of stem reserved and channelled. Outside of footring rounded and black inside of footring black almost up to top, tip of interior of footring and resting surface reserved. Underside of the handles reserved.

Intact. Preserved in a very good condition. large chip on one of the handles. Glaze flaked at small parts on the rim, on the interior, arund the foot ring. White depositions in the interior of the footring.
