Decoration | Rim: There are three narrow, black bands (on a reserved area) between two thicker ones. The side of the rim, the neck and the underside of the handle are all reserved, however there are parallel horizontal bands framed by two thinner vertical lines on the back of the handle. The shoulder is decorated with black tongues. The body is covered with a scale-like motif and each of the scales is rendered with two incised lines at the edge. Additionally, each alternate column has a large purple dot and the columns between have a very small, incised dot. Above and below the scales there are two, broad, black bands, separated by reserved lines. The lower part of the body towards the foot is decorated with tongues (radial-shaped motif). The foot and the base and underside are reserved. |

Condition | Intact, except for tiny chips on the rim and three small gouges on the lower body. The vessel's condition is very good, as the paint is not worn and the glaze remains. There is a dent in the body but this was made during production. Only slight wearing of the purple dots but not so as they become indistinguishable. |
