Decoration | The interior of the mouth is reserved except for a black band on its top. On the mouth, three horizontal parallel lines. On the neck, zig-zag pattern. Shoulder: A:goose/swan and B: panther. Incised rosettes and dots for the filling. Four black bands. Body: deer flanked by panthers whose tails almost meet. In field: rosettes with spoke incisions, and some with circular centres; also dots. Some added purple on animals. Scene rests on a broad black band framed by two narrow black bands. Triangular spokes point upwards from the base to the lower black band. Foot is black, but base is reserved. |

Condition | Major repair work done on one side and to neck consisting of nine pieces. Large chip to foot. Small chips to body. On most part of the figure decoration, handles, foot and mouth, black is fired to brownish. The gloss has flaked off from part of the figures, mouth and neck. White deposits around the mouth. |
