Decoration | Dull brownish-black glaze all over. Ribbed handles with bearded masks instead of spurs, handles divided in two between mask and body. In handle zone, incised band of tendrils on straight stalk. White dots (v. worn) above and below. Round top of lower band some evidence of what was a wavy pattern. Lower band black as is base and the rest of the vessel. |
