| Decoration | i) Part of a voluted palmette with petal-shaped divisions seems to be connected to part of a three-pointed floral motif by a thick, black, curving line. On the left there is another, identical three-pointed flower, only bigger and illustrated inverted and vertically and at the left end of the fragment another curving line. Below these, there is part of a perpetual meander pattern and the upper part of continuous, teardropped motives. Some form of greyish (light) brown plaster has been applied to the surface around the voluted palmette. ii) Small part of guilloche (thin fillets with tongue-shaped endings interwoven together) with dots among the lines. Below, there are traces of thin, black lines (but not visible because of burning). Underneath, radial-shaped motif. iii) Underneath two thin lines there is a meander pattern. iv) Part of the upper ending of a radial-shaped motif. v) larger part of a radial- shaped motif. There is part of a thin, horizontal line on the top of one of the divisions and more to the left there is a circle with a dot in the middle and two vertical lines (part of the guilloche). vi) Small part of the guilloche and radial-shaped motif below that. |

| Condition | There are six fragments probably from the body of the same closed-shape vase (amphora). i) Small bits of the colour have been peeled off and few small spots have been pitted off. ii) The fragment has been burnt. Tiny bits are pitted off. iii) The colour has faded away and has been peeled off from spots. Chips are missing from the edges. iv) The colour has faded away on the contour of the motives. v) The fragment is burnt. Bits of colour have been pitted off. vi) Bits of the colour have been pitted off, especially at the top and right side of the fragment. |
