Decoration | Lip, handle, neck and back of body all black. Reserved panel in front with main design and two sets of parallel, vertical black lines either side of a double row of dots. Horizontal row of tongues at top. Main design of Amazon on horseback with pelta (shield) and two spears, wearing helmet. At the bottom of the panel, running all the way around is a painted red line, now hardly visible. Foot is black on top and side but reserved on resting surface and underside. |
