Shape_description
Material Terracotta
Fabric Laconian
Fabric_description
Munsell_color 10YR 6/4
Decoration Probably part of a jar due to the way the bottom of the fragment juts out at an angle - possibly the body of the jar. The interior is painted black/dark red, although most has rubbed off. The top half of the exterior has been painted white (barely visible), with parallel lines of small black dots, and black squares in between these two lines. The rest of the fragment is painted black.
Inscriptions
Condition Intact, paint has worn off and faded a lot on both the interior, where only a small area of black and dark red remains, and the exterior where the white is barely visible, yet the black paint remains.
