Shape Jug
Shape_description Course jug with fat body, thick rim. The single handle reaches from the neck beneath the rim to the shoulder of the jug. The neck is as wide as the mouth, then tapers inwards slightly to meet the body, the ring foot is short and quite wide.
Material Terracotta
Fabric Cypriote
Fabric_description Greyish pale yellow to dark pink clay with some dark pink inclusions.
Munsell_color 2.5Y 7/4- 2.5YR 5/6
Decoration The body is unpainted, beige-grey colour with a few red patches.
Inscriptions
Condition Complete and intact. There are wheel marks on the body of the vase and some deposits on the base, above the handle, and on the lip.
