The handle appears to have been painted in black on the top and sides, but reserved underneath. Around the middle, vertically to the handle there is a pattern of black cross-hatched lozenges. The rest of the body has a pattern of thin black and thick red concentric bands, ending in a circle with a black Maltese cross on either side of the vase. |
