Shape Lamp
Shape_description Circular deep body, convex shoulder, small circular concave discus with reasonably large central filling hole. Small rounded nozzle with a medium sized flat, circular wick hole, at base of nozzle there appears to be a small air hole. Flat vertical handle with circular piercing through it. Handle is high above the body and reaches down towards the base. Base is circular and flat, it is delineated by two moulded bands.

Decoration Moulded decoration around the shoulder from outside in; a depressed ring, three bands of raised dots, (all three disturbed by the handle, one disturbed by the nozzle) a raised moulding of sets of three lines radiating in a band, a moulded ring surrounding the discus. Handle has two lines on its crest extending to the base. The base has lines delineating the base, but also has two small circular indentations along the handle nozzle axis. Dark red wash all over.
Inscriptions To be deciphered.
Condition complete and intact, handle is restored from three pieces. small amount of scratching and pitting on the body. filling hole is chiped, Wick hole is blackened from use and air hole is filled in.
