Shape Lamp
Shape_description Deep circular body, nearly straight convex shoulder and a deep concave discus with a small filling hole at the centre. Nozzle was flat and had a small round wick hole and probably a rounded tip. high vertical handle reaching down towards the base, circular piercing through the handle. Circular base is demarcated with a single line and is very slightly concave.

Decoration Thin moulded line starting on either side of the handle and following the crest of the shoulder along to the nozzle where they both deviate towards the wick hole converging and terminate in a point, either side is a volute pattern. Crest of handle has two decorative lines. Red-orange wash all over.
Inscriptions
Condition Nozzle tip missing, wash and decoration are both worn. Small amount of deposit all over, blackening around the wick hole may have been produced though use.
