Shape Lekythos
Shape_description Cup mouth on cylindrical neck, slightly narrowing and then curving to a slightly diagonal shoulder; narrow strap handle extends from the middle of the neck to the bottom of the shoulder, just above a carination, from which descends the nearly straight side walls; body narrow sharply at the bottom to a short stem attached to a tall moulded base, which tapers down.

Decoration Traces of parallel vertical bars on shoulder and upper part of side walls; white ground on upper 2/3 of body; black glaze below; foot reserved on vertical surface and underside.
Inscriptions
Condition Mouth broken off; burn marks around mouth and on the front of the body (which is also covered with a waxy deposit); surface scratched and almost entirely eroded except for parts of the black glaze.
Technique/Style Black glaze; added white
