Shape Lekanis
Shape_description Flanged rim and tapering body, to which are attached broad horizontal strap handles (rounded but almost oblong in shape), slightly canted upwards, with spurs on either side. The lower body is offset from the handle zone, rounded in the lower part where it attached to thick stem broadening to a moulded foot, with spreading upper part, slightly concave, and a broader, rounded lower part, broadening towards the base, with a conical depression on the interior, and a narrow resting surface

Munsell_color 5YR 7/6
Decoration Black glaze on interior, rim, and most of handles (dipped) as well as vertical surface of the rim, the lower body, and the lower element of the foot. Otherwise reserved, except for vertical bars in handle zone, on either side.
Inscriptions
Condition Comprised of two rejoined pieces, missing 1/8 of rim and upper body and most of one handle. Tan deposits around rim, handles, and foot, including underside.
