Shape_description Gourd-shaped vessel, with an elongated ovoid body tapering into a cylindrical handle that finally terminates in elongated, rounded tip. Pierced in the bottom of the ovoid part, and ca. 2 cm from the tip. Use as a rattle is indicated by the sound of a pebble inside.
Material Terracotta
Fabric Boeotian
Fabric_description Medium gray clay (because the piece is intact it is impossible to determine whether this colour results from burning, which is likely because the colour ranges from dark to light in patches).

Decoration White (?) slip has burned, and mostly flaked off.
Inscriptions
Condition Intact. The surface of the rattle is very rough, scratched, with peeling slip and dark grayish-white adhesions. There are three large cracks at the top of the ovoid part.
