Shape_description Neck extends up from the side of the piece, approximately one quarter of the way round from the handle, flaring into mouth.

Decoration On top, the helmeted head of Athena Parthenos in relief, very worn. Body grooved around the relief. Handle grooved and rises above body. Piece is black glazed throughout, including base. Surface pitted with a good deal of flaking of the glaze.
Inscriptions
Condition Complete and intact. Black glaze worn in most places, most notably on the top.
