Decoration Exterior glazed black overpainted by five horizontal parallel lines on the bottom half of the fragment. Three are brown, two are beige. The colors alternate. Interior glazed black.
Inscriptions
Condition Fragment. Chipping and scratching throughout, worse on exterior. "Aegina Aphrodite" handwritten in pencil along two sides of the fragment ("Aegina Aphro" written on second longest side, "dite" written on shortest side).
Technique/Style
Provenance Sanctuary of Aphrodite at Aegina. Picked up by P.N. Ure between 1907 and 1914.
